The Superintendent of grants and resources to the provision – ANATEL

In 28/08/2018 Anatel published Act 6506 approving the new test procedures for the conformity assessment of restricted radiation radio equipment and defines transitional rules for the application of the new procedures.

The mandatory new tests enter into force 30 (30) days after the publication of the Act, i.e. from 27/09/2018 (inclusive), concomitantly with the rules approved by this Act.

 

 

ATTENTION Customers * * *

 

For the processes in progress with the OCD Ibrace whose date of acceptance was prior to 27/08/2018 (of Products Applying act 14448 or resolution 506/680 or act 11542):

 

-These processes need to be terminated until 26/09/2018 to be exempt from the new tests. Processes terminated in 27/08/2018 on, will need to suit the new Act 6506. This means new tests, new costs, new deadlines, and if sample is not in possession of the lab, new samples.

 

For all accepted received in 28/08/2018 on (of products that apply Act 14448 or resolution 506/680 or act 11542):

-The new tests relating to act 6506 are applicable.
